Shot in Sydney in December last year, our Autumn/Winter '20 campaign blurs the line between elevated and the everyday. With a forever focus on classic design and high quality fabrics, the idea of everyday luxury is at the core of our AW20 collection. With the intention to emulate this feeling in our campaign imagery, we worked with photographer Hannah Roche to help bring this to life. Styling was elevated but pared back, hair and makeup was minimal and natural. This seems to be our approach on every shoot, as we love to highlight our new pieces without distraction, allowing the design, craftsmanship and fabrics speak for themselves.
Shot at Baker St Studios, the first half of the day was spent working with our beautiful model Marine, shooting our e-commerce imagery. Visiting from France, she brought a certain je ne sais quoi to each look that we just loved. With styling by Freddie Fredericks, our brief was "effortless but elevated." Think luxury materials and textures like silks, leather, ribbed cotton and corduroy. We complemented our new season pieces by pairing them with chocolate brown and dusty pink silk slips, ribbed knit dresses, wide leg pants, pared back leather sandals and knee high cream leather boots.
We then moved to shoot Marine and India together on a textured tonal backdrop, with creative direction by the talented Talisa Sutton from Badlands Studio. Set design and direction worked to beautifully complement our new season colour palette of camel, stone, cream, black and oatmeal.
