Our AW19 Campaign

Our most diverse collection to date, we wanted our AW19 campaign to capture our pieces in a way in which we’d never shot them before. To showcase our new season styles; their hand-crafted quality, the inclusion of new materials such as Australian wool and faux shearling, their luxe textures and new seasonal colour palettes. We flew up to Sydney for a few whirlwind days in early January (Winter campaigns are made in Summer!), to shoot our AW19 campaign in the tall grass fields and beautiful pine tree forest in Centennial Park. We enlisted the help of Talisa Sutton from Badlands Studio, who’s personal style and work as editor of Badlands Journal we have always loved. She helped us pull our team, location and styling together, and we couldn’t have been happier to have Talisa help bring our vision to life.

Our team was made up of photographer Brogan Chidley, videographer Henry Cousins, model Saadi Schimmel from Priscilla’s, H&M artist Kristin Brett and our FWF team from Melbourne, Brand Director Jules and Marketing and PR Manager Erin.

When it comes to styling, we worked closely with Talisa and Freddie Fredericks to pull looks to pair with the hero pieces from our AW19 collection. We wanted to create a high-end editorial look whilst maintaining a wearable feel. Wearability is so important to us - as our pieces are designed to be versatile staples that can be worn every day. For our campaign, we wanted to show how to elevate our pieces, pairing them with floaty romantic dresses, chunky knits, blouses and silk slip skirts.

Our hair and makeup brief was a super natural look, fresh dewy skin with textured hair. Our beautiful model Saadi had such naturally glowing skin - we kept everything else very pared back.

After a 6am call time, the morning flew by, and just as the Summer sun started to come out, we captured our last shot for the day and called it a wrap.

We are so in love with how the campaign came together, with our campaign video shot by the incredibly talented Henry Cousins, and dreamy campaign imagery shot by the lovely Brogan Chidley. We hope you love it as much as we do!
