A Note from our Creative Director on SS21

Another long lockdown couldn’t stop our amazing team and local manufacturers producing a lot of the latest Spring/Summer '21 collection right here in Melbourne – something I’m incredibly proud of. Personally, I also feel really connected to the style and functionality of this collection; of course all FWF collections reflect my personal aesthetic and lifestyle. But this one has come together especially well (in other words, I want to wear everything!). The last 18-months have shown us all how precious life is, and how quickly our circumstances can change. So now more than ever, I want to be wearing pieces that make me feel good, are practical and can work well across my existing wardrobe. For me every piece in this collection ticks those boxes. I hope you feel the same way!

Julia's SS21 Edit

I am forever on the hunt for the perfect relaxed shirt. I love how an oversized shirt can be worn so many different ways. Pair with our Wide Leg Tailored Trousers or our Drew Trousers, with your favourite pair of jeans or as a cover up over your bathers at the beach.
This t-shirt is my new staple. This more oversized style of t-shirt is crafted from a beautiful composition of organic cotton and is a dream to wear. I love wearing a crisp white t-shirt and for me, it’s a number one essential in the wardrobe.

These linen trousers showcase my love for relaxed summer tailoring. The linen fabrication allows them to be worn through all seasons, but Spring/Summer is their true time to shine. I love pairing mine with our Classic Tank or Rae Shirt. I always feel put together in a well-tailored pair of trousers.

The secret to our Classic Tank is the weight of the material and its length through the body. This tank can be worn sans bra and you feel perfectly supported, making it my regular go-to over Spring/Summer. Our new season butter and chocolate hues work back so beautifully with the rest of our range.

The Sleeveless Cleo Top is a piece I reach for time and time again. The minimalist crew neck design allows this classic shape to work back with multiple items in my wardrobe. When I’m not pairing it with the co-ordinating skirt, I love to wear it with a light wash denim and a ballet flat for a polished and effortless look during the day.

These new season trousers are on high rotation for me at the moment! They're unlined and made from a lighter weight linen than our classic Wide Leg Trousers, so they're perfect for warm summer days. I love pairing my steele blue pair with our chocolate Classic Tank, and the cocoa colour way works back beautifully with the Rae Shirt in blush.
