Staff favourites for your Easter long weekend

With the long weekend in sight, we asked our team for recommendations on what to do, eat, drink and wear this Easter.

How are you spending this long weekend?

We’re taking an early Easter break and our first family holiday in Noosa, with our 8 week old baby girl Sibella.

What have you packed in your suitcase?

The Classic Tailored Trousers in ivory have become an absolute staple in my wardrobe. I’ll be wearing them with our Classic white Tank.

Any holiday listening recommendations?

I’m loving listening to the podcast ‘More Than One Thing’ by Athena Calderone. She also has an Instagram account which provides all the interior and recipe inspiration, over at @eyeswoon.

What’s your ultimate long weekend activity?

The long weekend opens exciting opportunities to venture a little further than central Melbourne, and as a bit of a foodie, my top recommendation would be Yarra Valley based pop up restaurant by the team at Attica, Summer Camp. Much more relaxed (and affordable!) that it's Ripponlea big sister, there is an amazing undercover outdoor dining room that provides the perfect position between the vines, to while away a long afternoon grazing through the snack-sized menu. Don't forget to flag down the infamous roving desert trolley at the end of your meal!

What will you be rugging up in this Easter?

My Annabel Jacket in sage is my top pick for the Easter long weekend. Super warm and snug,I know I can stay outside and enjoy the most of the crisp Autumn afternoons and evenings without compromising on style.

Favourite Easter indulgence?

Aside from chocolate (obviously), I love a long, indulgent lunch with my family for Easter Sunday. Slow cooked lamb with roast vegetables is such a comforting dish for what is usually one of the first colder weekends of the year.

What’s your go-to outfit for your plans this weekend?

I cannot stop wearing my Cleo Top and Classic Tailored Trousers together! It’s an easy, throw-on look that I always feel good in — regardless of temperature or occasion.

What’s your ultimate long weekend soundtrack?

I’m currently listening to the Spotify playlist ‘Soul & Disco selected by MCDE (Motor City Drum Ensemble).’ Bringing all the good vibes this long weekend.

What are your Easter plans this year?

Every year for as long as I can remember, we have gone to my family’s farm in the Yarra Valley for Easter. It’s the most beautiful time to be up there, and the perfect place to unwind and catch up with my extended family.

What are your long weekend essentials?

The Cecile Jacket is an absolute essential for a weekend getaway. It’s the perfect throw-on jacket, packs down easily and will keep you warm and dry in whatever weather the weekend brings you.

Favourite cocktail to kick back and relax with this long weekend?

Usually any type of sour, especially if it’s gin based! Four Pillars Distillery is a popular spot in Healesville, which we frequent a lot when we are up there. They’ve just released a new gin, so I’ll definitely be heading down there for a tasting paddle!

How are you spending this long weekend?

My ideal Easter weekend would be up in Queensland to enjoy some warm weather and sun before the long Melbourne winter sets in. Time would be spend alternating between seeing family, friends and taking my sausage dog Arnold to the beach.

What are your in-flight essentials?

I love travelling with my Olivia Scarf for instant warmth. It’s great to wrap yourself up in for some quality reading time on the plane. At the moment I am reading ‘Find Me’, the enchanting follow up to Call Me By Your Name.
