Photo Diaries: Neridah Twist
Stylist and creative consultant Neridah Twist takes her photo diary to Paris, documenting her fashion week looks while observing reflections of her clothing in the landscape around her.
“The way I dress is quite minimal. I think being Australian really pulls that out of me. It reflects the way I grew up. I need to feel comfortable and wear the clothes, not have the clothes wear me.”
“I love that Friends with Frank doesn't focus on trends. The collections are an extension of what you already have, just elevated. All of my pieces are pieces I know I can wear over and over again and keep forever.”
“I've always had a sure sense of my personal style even from a young age and I have a lot of friends that like the way I dress and come to me for styling advice. When they feel overwhelmed by their clothing, I always tell them to invest in a good button down shirt and a pair of black trousers. You really can't go wrong! The Rae Shirt is my new favourite. I layered it over a solid blue shirt I've had in my closet for years and it gave a look I've been wearing over and over again a new life.”
“I'm drawn to brown and blue colours, so I really love the SS23 collection. I took my new pieces to Paris for a work trip and everywhere I looked, I'd see inspirations of what I was wearing in the landscape around me.”
