Come behind the scenes of our AW19 Campaign Shoot
Join us and come behind the scenes of our Autumn/Winter 2019 campaign shoot. Discover our team on set and explore the moments in between takes, as captured on 35mm film.
Our team met at our Creative Director Talisa's apartment for a 6am call time, where our H&MU artist Kristin Brett got to work on our beautiful model from the Netherlands, Saadi Schimmel. We also finalised which looks we were pairing with which of our FWF AW19 pieces. Talisa and Freddie had sourced some beautiful pieces, which we couldn't wait to shoot. One of our hero looks was an incredible floaty silk dress from Lee Mathews, which we end up shooting styled with our Harriet Coat in tan. It resulted in some of our favourite images from the entire shoot. Other pieces we loved included a chunky Ganni knit in cream, a long tiered silk dress from Sir and some statement Rag & Bone leather boots.
We made our way to Centennial Park, where we started our day shooting in the pine tree forest. Our incredible photographer Brogan Chidley worked in tandem with our videographer Henry Cousins, both capturing content we immediately knew was special, even on set. After a quick coffee stop where we refueled, we moved location to the tall grass fields to shoot our remaining few looks. A gentle wind picked up, which made the tall grass plumes sway softly in the breeze. This made for such a beautifully tranquil setting, where Saadi was captured in the middle of the field by Henry for our campaign film, wearing our Matilda Coat in grey marle.
The morning had flown by and just as the clouds parted and the Summer sun began to come out, we were ready to wrap. We said our goodbyes, so happy with the amazing morning we had and excited to see the final campaign images and film.
